Download 10.5

Hi,
I am having a bad day!
II have just downloaded all the files for 10.5
But cannot seem to progress to actually using this upgrade.
What am I doing wrong .. or more to the point, what am I not doing?

There's only one file to download to install it. Once it's downloaded double click to launch it and follow the instructions from there.

I have tried many times to download the file but get this message.

Microsoft Edge says
Aspire_patch_to_v10502.exehttps://storage.googleapis.com/storage.vectric.com/patches/v10_5/Aspire/patches/Aspire_patch_to_v10502.exe
Couldn't download - Network issue Resume
Is your system unable to cope with the download update requests or is it another problem?
Please advise.

Hi Mauri.

From that error message it looks like you are trying to download the patch directly, when in fact 10.5 requires a new installation. The installation can be found in your V&Co account: https://portal.vectric.com

Hi,
After countless number of resume presses, I have finally managed to download the 307MB file and then install it.
I am not sure why the system first downloaded the patch file as I am sure I went through the same download procedure as you mentioned in your note.
It now runs finally.

Hi,
Eventually, after a considerable time, I am now using 10.5
I have upgraded my Aspire software many times and I cannot remember ever having had this sort of trouble.
I must have spent an hour.. possibly more, wrestling with this upgrade.

I too thought it was kind of crazy that I had to download 16 files just to do a simple upgrade.

What 16 files? It's just the installer file you need.

When I follow the instructions, there are 16 files marked for download.
So I downloaded them.

I had exactly the same experience
Piles of files to download so, thinking I was doing the correct thing, I also downloaded them!
Seems to me we both missed some instruction or, more likely, there was insufficient instructions.
Only an hour or two wasted
