Here is an example of a cabinet done in your program

there are other drawer holes in addition to the ones I specified, one of the stop dados is not stopped, and the back dado is married to the shelf dado which means I can not exclude it

Hi Jonathan,
Thanks for sending this to me it's always good to get feedback I can take steps to make the gadget better.
The holes are from drawer slides and you can turn those off by selecting no drawer slide. Additionally, as I look at the drawing it appears the "Part Gap" value is set too small value. You can find the setting in the "Milling Settings" menu under "Cabinet Construction Specifications and Notations" try increasing this to a value of 0.5 Inch or 12mm. This should address the overlap milling issue.

I will run some test on the blind dado setting and let you know what I find out.

Happy Milling!

Hello Jonathan,

I ran several tests are not seeing an issue with the blind dado.

There's an image of what I'm getting.

Once I complete the gadget I'm currently working on, I will turn my attention to adding a new menu option to turn and off the toe kick. Here is what I am imagining.
No toe-kick
No toe-kick
Thanks,
Jim

Thanks Jim. It is sound construction to have even your top stretchers sit in a dado. two small ones front and back are preferableDxf example.pdf

Here is an example of what I am going for in regards to parts design
Hi Jonathan,
I am thinking about doing a European-style cabinet program, I will keep your suggestions and mine.
Thanks,
Jim

Thanks Jim. I figured out I can set the toe kick notch to zero. Possibly the second blind dado problem was due to the parts gap issue. the ability to get rid of the back dado would be really nice

Jonathan,
"I figured out I can set the toe kick notch to zero." What menu setting and values are you using to achieve this? I will update the User Guide with them.
Thanks,
Jim

Hi Jim,
While working on Full Access design, I was able to zero out the toe-kick.

I am used to blind dado construction on the euro cabinets and noticed that when changing from through dado to blind dado on the milling tab, the program does not allow for blind dados on the stretchers.

When changing milling to through dado, it creates dados for the top stretchers

Just a couple of other thoughts on the Full Access/Eruo cabinet maker gadget
Presently if designing in Imperial, any metric holes /spacing need to be converted from metric to imperial. Would it be possible to place hardware spacing in metric dimensions while the carcass is in imperial or have an area in the gadget window at all times to input imperial measurements which would convert to metric to copy/paste into the field if it can only be designed in one unit of measure? In VCP/Aspire you can convert metric to imperial with value*i= and the program will convert. Not sure if this is possible in the gadgets.

Could you have check boxes for panels/parts for edge banding to deduct the thickness of the edge banding from the edges so when the panels are finished with edge banding they would be the finished part size? For example standard edge banding comes in .5mm, 1mm, 1.5mm, 2mm, 3mm.

Jim,
Another desirable feature to add would be a way to print out or export to a Dymo label maker ( such as Dymo Labelmaker 450 ) for the sheet and part for the cabinet so you could print the labels in advance, label the parts as you cut/take off the machine and assemble later.

I found a spec document for the Dymo Labelmaker 450 printer. l can add this format as a output file.
Can you test this and see what you get out of the label maker?

I am not 100% sure. You can try it and if it post an error, I can review the archives for an old version.
Thanks,
Jim
