If cutting on the line it makes no difference. My guess is the original poster is cutting to one side of the line. Two of the lines (e.g. the two top ones) will align with the panel bevel and two won't (e.g. the two bottom ones)

Hello All,
I have been working on the Easy MDF Door Maker and I have added the milling of the raised panel section, mills the flat section, and mills the inter and outer door edges. It will also mills the Scribe lines if you select "Yes" to Scribe Lines and select tooling for the scribe lines. It will mill fluting lines if they are drawn and tooling is selected.

The Easy Install Steps:

1. Download the gadget EasyMDFDoorMaker.zip that is attached to this post.
2. Rename it from EasyMDFDoorMaker.zip to EasyMDFDoorMaker.vgadget
3. In Vectric Pro or Aspire click on Gadgets -> Install Gadget and navigate to where you downloaded the file to, select it and click Ok.

If successful, a pop up saying the gadget was installed and you should see EasyMDFDoorMaker is now in the Gadgets menu.

What is New
Clean up code and menus
Updated the Menus
Added the Raised Panel Geometry and Layers
Added Tool Profile Selection (Defaults Menu - You can select a Ball Mill, End Mill or V-Bit as the default bit profile)
Added New Tool Selection Menu
Added Make Toolpath Functions for the Geometry
Updated the User guide

SDK Note: The SDK "Create Toolpath Function" only supports the Ball Mill, End Mill and V-Bit's as usable profiles. To use other bits (Form Tool, Radiused End Mill, etc...) to create the milling, you will need to change the bit in the Toolpath. I have sent a request to the Dev team to add the other bit profiles to the Create Toolpath Function.

Please leave me some feedback . I hope you find it useful.

Hello Jimandi.

It took me some time to test and to get myself informed about the Scribe Lines. For them to look good, and to be correct, they are not allowed to be 4 lines in each Scribe Corner, but 2 Lines that go like this: Left one from Top to Bottom and the Right one from Bottom to Top.

I'm sorry for the late Answer but it took me some while.

Nope Vertical Scribe is the same!!! They need to be in opposite directions in order for toolpath to work correctly.

Be sure to look into my problem noted previous also in relations to the last Tool removal button. Thanks!!!

Have another Suggestion for you!!! Add Box Core bit to selections where Ball Nose bits are used (EX: Panel Forming). They make nice inside radius edges too!!!

Just a Thought!!! :)
