Wow... both look great!!!!

Love the paint job on both and the lack of snow, Randy... ;)

Hada bit of snow in this part of the UK last week and had an actual snowball fight!!!! The snow was short-lived... but we made the best of it.

What is the base material and finish?
This was some scrap wood paneling (~1/8") that had already been painted white.

6mm Baltic birch. Sealed it with shellac and sprayed it with Rustoleum Gold Metallic Paint+Primer. Took a few coats to get the metal smoothness. Any smooth 1/4 plywood should work fine.

Oooh, my favorite paint! On one hand I was hoping that you had done it in brass, it looks that good, but knowing that you've done this is 'available' materials is even better!
I love how that paint levels out. I use it for my metal yard art, now I have something new to try.
