Odd Oval Shape

I think you had tried sooooo many different things that the crv file was just toast
I copied the Oval vector and Circle vector to a new file. Added the Clipart Rectangle_0.5 and sized to to cover the Oval vector .
Added a Zero Plane
Tilted the Rectangle_0.5 Component and set Combine Mode to Subtract.
Select the Oval vector and Rectangle_0.5 Component, Circular Copy.
The Level Clipping should be the last thing done.

Use the 30 degree dome from the clipart for the center then import this oval shape, set the properties to merge low and use it to build the project. You can tilt, fade or set the depth as needed. I created a vector around the perimeter of the dome and then offset it 4" to the inside. Then used copy along a vector tool. I have Aspire only so I can't provide a finished example that you can open.

I think is is a software glitch
I did follow your directions step by step, No hope, also I did tilting individually but the horizontal shapes was not responding to the tilt as the vertical shapes with the same slop, I did downloaded your file and as you can see at the 3D split screen showing the slop and tilt is not the same at your file, but it looks somehow better than my file.
I guess it is a glitch on the software.
we are Beating a dead horse hear, may be it is not for Vcarve it is for Aspire that can do better at this situation

Just looked closer at the file I sent you and you are correct some of the Components don't have the same Tilt angle. I don't know why. I'm sending my file to Vectric Support for an explanation.

I haven’t looked at any of the files, but do have a question...did you Bake the original tilted component before using the circular array copy feature?

Question to original poster: in the original object are the ends of the six inch long slot perpendicular to the face of the disc?

I can imagine this object was created using manual methods and that the oblong areas were cut out with the disc tilted leaving the terminals sloped in relation to the disc's face.

OK, Michael came in and saved the Day!

After Tilting the original Rectangle_0.5 Component I forgot to Bake the Component before making the Circular Copy.

Think of each of the options (Tilt,Fade, Base Height, Shape Height...) that you can preform on a Component as ingredient of a cake. You mix all the ingredients together to create a "batter" (new component look), then to get the batter to stay together and be a cake you.... Bake it.... Once baked you CAN NOT go back to the original ingredients, it's a cake (baked component)....

Remove the Level Clipping.

The file that I provided is a .stl file of the oval component. You should be able to import and use it in VCP.
