Wow! that is very nice. Did you by any chance buff that to get that great finish?

I watched a youtube video (by a pipe maker, the smoking kind) on buffing wood and getting a near glass finish. So I recently ordered a new grinder and the buff/polish 6" pads with the polish compound. I am watching down the driveway for the fedex truck daily... lol.

No, that project I did not buff. the finish (conversion varnish) was sprayed. I do buff a lot of my projects.
You might look at the Beall Wood-Buffing System. It give you move room to work your project than a grinder.
