K-Cup Holder

Post by gkas »

I recently bought a K-Cup brewer to fuel my caffeine habit, since I'm the only coffee drinker in the house. I soon realized that I'd need a holder for the k-cups. I found this older build from Michael Tyler for Aspire 4.5. It was fun to build and looks great. It's definitely unique.

Yup. It uses a 4" lazy susan plate. 4 Hole in 5 sides = 20 cups.

My take on the project. I added a 3D cup to the top.

Looks great!

BUT, to paraphrase a famous movie line:

You are going to need a bigger holder.

Now me, I drink exactly one variety of K cup coffee, decaf donut shop. The better half? Look out! She has an automatic refilling subscription on Amazon to keep her stocked up. One whole kitchen cabinet is dedicated to her various brews. Me? I get a tiny little corner in that cabinet since I drink one cup of coffee per day.

IMHO those Keurig coffee makers are the best invention in the last couple of hundred years. Nothing like walking into the kitchen, tossing one in and a minute or so later, fresh hot coffee!
