Really nice job. I like the picture with the name layout. I also like that the name is an outline. It doesn't detract from the picture.

The letters has been cut out of the photo, i'm not soo familiar with photoshop, i preffer vectors
but i am happy with the result en the combination of tecniques

Looks great. What are your settings for the photo v-carve section. I was trying to make something similar for my wife for Christmas and gave up on it because I couldn't make it work. Would you be willing to share the file so I can check out the settings you used.

i used mdf with a white top covering
settings : v-carve bit 90°
max carving dept 1 mm
step over react 3 mm
line spacing 100%
line ange 40°
The lines of the photocarve are colored with teack-oil for a deep brown colour
the contour of the photo is adapted with a layer to fade away
