uccnc controller support
I am trying to help a friend set up his cnc to be able to use Vectric products. He has an essentially a home built machine using uccnc controller software. I cannot find any post processor for this controller software. When I try to vcarve text the letters are not round but hexagonal. Can anyone help with what post processor he should be using? Thanks.

I should also add that if I create a circle vector it cuts fine (not hexagonal). But, if I take the text (the letter O) and convert it to vectors, the machine still cuts it with hexagonal and not round. Perplexing?

There was a post about this a while ago, here is the link, if you look towards the bottom you will see that ger21 posted some for UCCNC on his website, the link is included in one of his posts

Re: uccnc controller support
It's your CV settings in UCCNC, not the post processor.
If you are working in inches, the default CV values are in mm's, and need to be changed. If the error settings are set to .01, try changing them to .003

Thanks so much for everyone's help. It was a wrong (mm) posting in the CV settings rather than inches. A change and all works like it should!
