I am tracing a trail map out by hand using a bitmap as a guide. I can't figure out how to increase the brightness of the image during the tracing process for places where the bit map is not as bright.
I don't see any opacity / transparency setting for the layer than I am tracing on and I don't remember this from the various videos. I'm sure there must be a way to do this but not seeing it.
Help please

1. Highlight the bitmap
2. Right-click on Object Properties
3. You have a slider for Fading of Non-Selected Bitmap
you're done....

Yep. And don’t be shy about re-adjusting the fade amount periodically as you go along. I use the feature often and regularly, to re-adjust visibility of a bitmap when manually tracing.
