CeorfanWorks

Post by JamesB »

Hello, its been a while... I've been meaning to come and post on the forum for a while, to show some of the things I've been working on in Aspire now I have my own workshop. I'm full-time now (although seem to be goofing off today) but for the last year and a half I've been going in as and when I felt like it. I'm enjoying collaborating with Thomas Philpott Cabinet Makers who I share space with on many interesting things for their clients, as well as developing my own products. I'll post a few images below but the best place to catch up on everything is the portfolio and my bi-weekly journal on my website - https://ceorfan.works/

I'll try and be a more frequent visitor here now I'm a full-time and post new stuff as it gets made.

Cheers,
James Booth

James,

There was a post a couple of weeks ago that showed your work. Very Impressive!

Thanks all.

Bill - The "Tele" is still on my list but there is a lot of stuff before it!

Martin - to the best of my knowledge the clients wife has not yet seen the newel posts but they did get installed today so I guess she'll see them soon - I hope to go take a look tomorrow at them in place.

Today I was working on a celtic knot V-inlay for the clients stairs which is 428mm accross (approx. 17 inches) - I've not done one so large before - when we plane it in the morning we'll see if its worked or not!

Cheers,
James

Great projects, James!

Did you purposely use Ash for the “ash stool”? I dunno - the name has a certain ring to it. :D
