i see the pro version includes ability for
* true shape nesting
* wrapped rotary toolpaths
*toolpath templates and toolpath merging
as a beginner is it worth the extra money for the pro version
I will be using the powermatic 2x2 cnc

It's really one of those questions that only you can answer. To me it's worth the extra (leaving aside that my machine is 8x4) as I use nesting, toolpath templates and gadgets every day.
Fortunately the way the upgrades are priced means that if you buy the desktop version and later decide you want the Pro version then it won't cost you anymore than if you bought the Pro version in the first place.

I'd recommend starting with Desktop. You can upgrade to Pro when you specifically need those features.

I agree, upgrade only when there is a limitation that you NEED to overcome.

Pro also does gadgets, which I really enjoy because I've written a couple of my own. I agree you're just fine without the Pro options, especially to start with. You may eventually decide you'd rather have Aspire over VCarve in the end.

Are you running the trial version? Gadgets don't work in the trial. If not are you executing the file after downloading it?jaarden561011 wrote:All the gadgets downloadsfiles are empty. How can I download en instal the Gadgets into Aspire V8
