Vertical Name tags
I am trying to use the plate production function to make wooden name tags in a vertical orientation. But when I click apply the oval profiles remain vertical but the names switch to a horizontal orientation. Is there a way to have the names remain in a vertical position??

Re: Vertical Name tags
The "text within a box" fonts do not include ones with "@" prefix. When I tried it with the regular text function the name does not center itself within the oval profile I created.

Re: Vertical Name tags
OK, I created a Plate Production job and I see the issue. The problem is VCP and Aspire create TTF text horizontal and ignore any previous formatting (like fit to curve or rotation).
If you have to have vertical orientation for the job, the work around might be to create the Plate horizontal then once created select everything and rotate it 90 degrees.
Whoops! forgot to mention you'll have to recalculate your tool paths.

Thanks, that worked. I should have thought of that one.
