Lion king masks

Post by Robert58 »

Made these masks for a local junior high school play. I got some photos off the internet for the masks. Then did some basic modeling in Aspire. Then made some 3" thick blue foam blocks and cut out the masks. At that point some other people put on a couple of layers of paper mache onto the blue foam to make the masks. Then my son (who is a much better artist than me) did a bit of painting. There was 10 masks made along with 27 2-D wildebeest cut from Styrofoam.
