If you click on the video itself in your browser it should start playing.

3 MB as far as I'm aware. You can post a link to a file on DropBox, OneDrive or other file sharing service if it's bigger than that and can't be reduced by zipping.

Why do my posts keep getting removed??

I don't even get a message informing me or explaining why. Heads up people... only say really nice things and how wonderful the software is on this forum!

Going to remove this one too??

Are you mentioning competing software made by other companies? This isn't a 3rd party CNC forum. It's provided and run by Vectric for their products so you can probably understand why they don't want other companies software "advertised" on it.

Not to mention the legal ramifications if someone joins into the thread make defamatory remarks about the other software.

There are lots of sites with free fonts, like:
http://www.dafont.com/
Put them into your Windows font folder (may need to unzip first) and Aspire will automatically load them when it starts.

Here is a tutorial on how to install fonts - http://support.vectric.com/tips-and-tri ... video_id=5

As Mike says there are many sites with fonts available as the fonts Aspire uses (other than the single line ones) are standard True Type and Open Type fonts.

Greetings,

I'm relatively new to CNC and need some advise. I have a CNC Shark and have just uploaded the 8.5 version of VCarve desktop. My question is what router bits would you recommend for engraving onto wood using point sizes from 12 to 72. I've looked on Amazon and they show several that are packaged in groups. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Copper John,

Join the cnc shark forum http://www.cncsharktalk.com/viewforum.php?f=2 lot of info for shark owners. You can use 11 deg v bits , 45,60,90 v bits, etc... for wood.

My shop computer died and while I have a good copy on my home PC and I can transfer the program and files, I don't know how to get it installed on the new shop PC.
It's VCarve Pro 7.5.

I have sent an email request to support also.

Thanks,

Steve

Hi Guys (and hopefully Gals),
I found out my "Scale factor" setting in toolpath summary is not working for negative (lower/faster) numbers.
When I enter higher number than 1 result is immediately calculated, but my CNC seems faster and every time I try to get lower result than estimated time with scale factor one it doesn't calculate.
I tried negative numbers (-2.0), decimals 0.5 with both dot and with coma (0,8/0.8).
If I remember training it should be entered as decimal let's say "0.8"

I have win 10 and aspire 8.5.
Is this normal behavior or is it bug in the SW?

Thanks for useful advice in advance.
Yuri
