They are made of MDF and then sealed, then sprayed with a stone paint and then clear coated.

Great work!

Could you show pictures of the intermediate steps?

I have difficulty undestanding how you get from a square block to the finished shape.

Thank you,

Pierre

Brian,
Thanks for the idea. Here is my version.
3d file from Thingverse, 2" blue foam, two halves no slicing, 3M spray glue, Plaster of Paris for smoothing, primed and stone paint.
What I like about this is the process from start to finish. Once you understand how to slice, connect and finish 3D models, then your only limitation is between your ears and the size of your bed.

Regards
Mark

Hi There Mark
That's exactly where i got the file for mine from, you are right once you master slicing the world is your oyster. Aspire is such a powerful program for its price and there is so much to master, the trick i think is to know what you want to do with it. Otherwise YOUR MIND EXPLODES WITH THE POSIBILITIES and you never get anything done because your always trying all the new things people are coming up with. Especially all the talented people who use this forum. lol.

P.S Great job on the Moai.

regards

Brian

I don't really see what my bed size has got to do with this, maybe it's a case of to small a bed means you don't get a good night sleep & can't concentrate properly

Great work on these by the way Brian & Mark
