recent inlay projects
Haven't posted for awhile. Here are some inlay projects.

- This is inlaid and then carved. Taken from image of a painting.

- Here lighting is exaggerated to show carving texture. Very low relief. Done with jpeg to component tool.

- Ebony, koa, claro walnut, holly and silver. For a client named Lenore. Squawk, squawk...

- Harder than I thought it would be. All wood. Ebony, holly, bloodwood, satinwood, pink ivory

- Taken from an ancient stencil used to create repeating pattern on textiles. Over 1000 pieces. Ebony, bloodwood, satinwood, leopardwood, in quilted maple case. It's a tea box.
I thought this was supposed to make life easier?

Excellant work. I really like the Koa but would have a hard time singling any of them out from the rest.
