Hi,
Couple of days ago my friend asked me could i make speaker stands for him... This would be my first time to make speaker stands... and good opportunity to test what kind of wood oak is to cut...
I used 1/16 ballnose to carve picture and cutting time was approx 1h 20min/picture. Wood turned out nicely.
Toyota landcruiser brake disks have new life now

Re: speaker stands
Those look very nice ... could you please post a photo from the back side?
Nice idea, re-purposing the brakes this way, since they just slow you down when used as intended ; As Peter Ustinov once said about the lack of good brakes on his race car (Grand prix de Gibraltar"?), "Any fool can make a car go slow ... it takes genius to make it go fast".
