CNC router parts

I used cncrouterparts for the machine I built, most of my cnc is 1/4in steel but I used their linear motion parts and nema34 electronics.
They are a great company, I will buy from them again when I build another cnc

I built a 5X8 table from them, and used a good deal of their NEMA 34 parts to build up my electronics. I love my set up. Since I have needed (wanted?) to upgrade things and they have all the knowledge and parts available to do so for their machines. This includes making room on the gantry without loss of rigidity for my log furniture for over 6 inches in thickness. Also, this week I contacted them about a 100MM spindle mount and they had them on hand even though they were not on their site yet. Roughly the same price as their other mounts. I have also been working on a few custom parts for dust collection and such, Kent CNC has a wonderful dust boot - I added Rocklers quick adapters so I can clean off any remaining stuff but something is still needed to support it. Ahern is very flexible to work with and quick to get back to you. This is all my opinion though. However, I haven't found a frustrated customer between all the forums as of yet!

Nice build! My base was thought to be sound but I have since changed it to a basic shop cabinet similar to yours. I found with my machines that the base is nearly the most overlooked part when building something like this. The original base had legs, gusseted half way down, 3 per side and it still wasn't enough to hold her steady for the inertia brought by the gantry. Moving it to the new base was sure fun!
