If you have a windows truetype font of Arabic letters then it should be possible. VCarve uses Windows compatible fonts.

Since VCP doesn't do special handling for right-to-left script you get some odd behavior.
You can type the characters into the text box, but when you hit apply the characters will be in reverse order on the project. Therefore you have to switch the order of the characters around in the text box. If you are doing something simple it's no problem, but of there is a lot of text it would be easier to import from CorelDraw.

See below. The order is correct in the text box but reversed on the project. The same is true for Hebrew.

Hi,
I have VCarvePro. And I have a question. I want to buy - Cut 3D for STL files. Will I be able to save 3D files in Cut 3D and then open in the program VCarvePro? As I understand it is possible. In the program Cut 3D need to open STL file and save to format - v 3d. Then in the program VCarvePro to import this - v 3d file. I'm not very advanced user of the computer and just want to be sure.
Thank you

Yes it works as you describe. Save in Cut3D format and import.

Tutorial D03 on this page - http://support.vectric.com/tut-vcp-2d-techniques - goes through the process.

I have made all the projects I can that have been posted on the vectric website and have had a lot of fun learning how to run my machine. Is there other sites that you can suggest to me to get other project to make. I don't mind even paying for them if I have to

You could try http://shopbottools.com/mSupport/projects.htm

A lot of the Vectric projects are there but there are some others that will work with VCarve as the ShopBot PartWorks program is essentially the same thing.

Jon at http://cncking.com/shopbot-table-router-projects.html has some interesting items as well. Make sure you read and understand the license agreement though.

How long does it usually take for a reply from sales or support? I've got $1500 burning a hole in my pocket for an upgrade to aspire and haven't heard from anybody since Thursday.thanks!

Usually they are very prompt, but holiday weekends can slow them down a bit. Family stuff and all.

I think they go into the Vectric Files folder in the Public section of Documents ..
