Outdoor Chairs made out of African Sapele and white Cedar

Other than the slats, all the parts were cut on my cnc. When you have chair parts that are totally exact to a fraction on an inch the project goes smooth. Each chair weighs 50 lbs and has 28 mortise and tenon joints. I used a Leigh FMT Pro jig to do the M&T joints

Yes, very pretty chairs. Ribboned sapele looks a lot like mahogany. I bought a plank of it at a Woodcraft store in Raleigh, NC. Don't know yet what I'll do with it, but I see that it makes very nice chair arms. :D

Very nice job!, nice contrast with the two woods. What finish did you use for outside? spar varnish?
