lil help please
Hey I'm trying to make a small leg for a box. The dimensions dont have to be exact. Having issues creating the 3d component, any help would be cool. Thanks

Re: lil help please
What should be simple is deceptively difficult.
Did this by designing in another CAD programming and importing into Aspire as an .stl file.
I don't see how to do this in Aspire alone.

Re: lil help please
Is this the sort of thing you are after ? This can be done in Aspire4 or VCP7 using Fluting toolpaths ... It could start and end as almost any shape you want (I think)

Re: lil help please
The two rail sweep will easily create the 3D model. The challenge will be getting good results machining the near vertical sides with 3D toolpaths.

Re: lil help please
If you want to try the Fluting toolpath route, there is a new "Cookie Cutter" gadget that might be useful for this type of work.
