3/8 holes with a 1/4 end mill
What is the best method of maching out 3/8 dia holes on 3/4 material and lots of them (vac table)--profile or drilling tool path

Profile toolpath with the spiral ramp option set is how I do it.

If you look at the latest Vectric newsletter under User Group 2013 Videos (Working with External Files) about 21:50 minutes in, it will talk about setting up templates, which might be useful for you since you need to drill a lot of holes. I would also set the vector diameter to .376 (thousandths larger) and use a 3/8 mill to speed things up. Gary
