Adding a sheet

I have a dfx file that I am trying to import that will require at least two maybe 3 4x8 sheets to fully complete. Is there a way to add a sheet, other than nesting, because when I try to nest the objects in the dfx file it goes all wonky on me.

If anybody wants to nest it up here it is.

Here you go Crash5050.
I needed to redraw the panels with the 3/4 " grooves.
Be SURE to double check the sizes with the original.
Every thing is grouped and arranged, ready to be nested.
I used a .250 diameter tool with a .250 gap and got it all on 2 sheets.
I did NOT relabel the screw strips.

I also removed the half moon shaped lines in the partition boxes.
Most of the other lines in the DXF were not joined with anything.
So, I tried to join the items to create closed vectors as best as I could.
All the items are grouped. The description is grouped also, so that when the
parts are nested you will still know what they are with the exception of the
screw strips. I hope this helps.

Thank you very much, that is much better than what I was getting. I do have one question though. I think there are some dado cuts in the side rails. And I am not sure how to do that.

David, Everything I changed is grouped per each part. You should be able to ungroup
each part all the way down to individual components. You could then stretch the dado grooves
by the diameter of the tool you are using plus a little bit for stock between the parts. Be sure to
regroup all of the components back into the individual panels. I hope this helps. Perhaps someone
else has a better easier way.

I figured that part out after I posted and neglected to post that I had figured it out. Thank you so very much for your help, here is what I cam up with. If you could look at it and tell me if I did it right?

Hello David, It looks like you are on the right track. If you enlarge your cut profile view after the simulation you will see the tool radius still left in the corners of the grooves. That is why I made them just long enough to clear the edges of the parts at the grooves. I made what looks like the .750" wide dados .500" longer so that the center of a .250" diameter cutter will just clear the edges of the panels. A little longer would not hurt anything but it will be necessary to leave more than .250" spacing between the panels when they are nested. I hope this helps you out.
