I notice that the tutorials for assembling DM clip art that the material thickness is 19mm or more, is there a reason that this thickness is preferred ?
Model detail etc?

Re: Material Thickness
My guess is because that is a common size of lumber, at least here in the US, 19mm = 3/4 inch (within a couple of thou).

Re: Material Thickness
I thought it may allow you to use increased model and base heights for improved model detail and layout.

Re: Material Thickness
Hello Ron.
Thanks, TReischl for chiming in on this one... and you are right on the money!
In our tutorials, we do try to use real-world values that make some sort of sense. So 3/4 of an inch makes it so the end result is something you could expect to see.
