You'll probably guess i'm a bit new to this.
I took inspiration from a Birdhouse project uploaded to this site. I'm having difficulty milling the very simple 3D model.
The issue I have is that the machine bit plunges down nearly cutting through the 1/2 in piece of plywood I'm trying to carve. I am unable to see what I'm doing wrong. Please could you look at the attached and point me in the right direction.
I just wat the model to be about 1/8 inch deep.

Set the Model position in material to zero or maybe .005" to account for irregularities in material surface.
