3D tool paths gone wrong.

3D tool paths gone wrong.
so, I purchased a 3d model from design and make. Created tool paths. Ran the roughing cut and x-axis cuts downstream. After each layer of cut, the cuts move in the + direction. Chased the issue throughout the machine for days, found nothing. Ran a file created with artcam...works perfect. Need help with Desktop.

Re: 3D tool paths gone wrong.
Just a word of advice, running a program created by a different program does not prove there is an issue with the software.
You would have to double check all parameters were exactly the same.
Something to think about: There are literally hundreds of 3D programs created every day with this software. Why aren't we hearing more of this issue?

Can you post some photos so we better understand what is happening? (FAQ: How do I upload files or photos to the forum?)Ran the roughing cut and x-axis cuts downstream. After each layer of cut, the cuts move in the + direction.
What are your feed rates for XY, and Z?
At the end of the job did the tool return back to Home, or was it elsewhere?

Re: 3D tool paths gone wrong.
Then you are losing steps for some reason. Since you gave the machine the thrice over, take a look at your feeds and speeds/depth of cuts to see if they make sense for your machine.

Thanks for the input guys.
I will give that a shot.
