Photo Bcarve or Engraving Toolpath

Hello All,
I’m planning on engraving a photo onto a 6” x 6” piece of cast acrylic that is 0.222” thick. It has cardboard colored paper protective coating on both sides.
I am trying to decide if I should use the photo vcarve toolpath, or the quick engrave toolpath. I have a Widget Works 120 degree Diamond drag bit that I plan on using if I choose the quick engrave toolpath. I can’t seem to locate that tool in the database for a photo vcarve toolpath in my database.
Which toolpath would you all recommend I use, and should I remove the protective paper covering?
What setting should I use for each toolpath?
I’m new to this, so I thought I would ask for your expertise.

Quick Engraving is specifically made for a spring-loaded drag-bit. Photo VCarve for cutting bits (such as v-bit and engraving bit) as you will be cutting to a significant depth that the drag-bit really can't accomplish.

I u derstand. But which one would you recommend?

All depends on the effect that you want.

If you use the Quick Engrave toolpath you are going to have to come up with some vectors for it to follow and then accept a very "scratchy" looking image.

If you want a 3D effect (although with 0.22" (5.88mm thickness you'll get a very shallow bas relief) you'd use photo v-carve.
