Laser Toolpath Processing Time

Post by Chada13 »

I've processed many files with the Laser toolpath. But recently the processing time has increased drastically. It may take 5 minutes to process a simple Laser toolpath (before it only took seconds). Plus in the preview, the result displays a really thick toolpath.

I have the display set to standard. The laser kerf is still 0.1". The vectors are clean with minimal points.

I don't know what could be driving this. Other toolpaths process quickly, even for larger files.

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks,

Chad

Can you upload an example file that is showing the problem?

How do I upload files or photos to the forum?

It was the kerf. Not sure how it got to that size. I changed it to .01" and it processed super quick.

Thanks!
