Re: Laser rotary module
What do you mean by "laser rotary attachment"?
The reason I ask is:
Rotary is not specific to a laser or cutters, it is just a rotary axis. So if you have a rotary axis, all you need to do is mount up a laser in place of your router, or maybe not. Maybe not because on my machine I mounted the laser offset from the spindle and use those offset distances when using the laser.
You can run into the same issues with rotary as you do with flat cutting when using a laser. Like the control pausing to allow to spindle to get up to speed. If it is turning the laser on with that same M code, usually M3, the laser will overburn the material. Little things like that. Also, standard controls do not typically ramp power of the laser with acceleration of the machine. Mine works great for quite a few things, but it has nowhere the abilities of a dedicated laser engraver/cutter.

Re: Laser rotary module
Thank's TReichi, I don't have a rotary attachment, and I have the laser the same as yours offset, someone asked me if I could engrave on a round object so the first thing I thouth of was a rotary attachment, but like you said it is not that simple, I will have a look at a dedicated laser engraver/cutter, but they will probably be way too expensive for what I need
