This Gadget is getting even better! Comments and Suggestions are Welcomed!

Item Changed/Added:
1. Added the Caul Blocks for the Cauls Spreader! The Cual Blocks average 2.5" to the Guitar Body Length.
2. Fixed the Job Setup Entry Dialog Messaging related to the XY Datum Location.
3.) As a Note: There is no Toolpath for the Caul Position Texts for I have left this up to the User's Preference.

Rename to Guitar Maker_Ver2.5.vgadget

Current Version: 2.5
Supports: 12.0 versions of V-Carve Pro, and Aspire -- Not sure about any of the other previous Vectric Versions

Installation Instructions:

1. Download the gadget Guitar Maker_Ver2.5.zip that is attached to this post.
2. Rename it from Guitar Maker_Ver2.5.zip to Guitar Maker_Ver2.5.vgadget
3. In Vectric Pro or Aspire click on Gadgets -> Install New Gadget and navigate to where you downloaded the above noted file to select it and click Ok.

It should give you a pop up saying the gadget was installed and you should see Guitar Maker_Ver2.5 in the Gadgets Menu. After Installing Close Software Program then Restart Software Program for using Gadget.

Next up ---
Continue to monitor gadget and possibly add more Guitar Body Styles, etc...

If you find an issue with any portion of the gadget, please let me know. I will do what I can to fix it within hours not days and/or weeks.

Sorry About that I had the Gadget in a modebug configuration which would not allow it to open. It is now Okay!

I am having a problem getting the version installed. I am using a Windows 11 machine. It will download the file but the minute it hits the desktop the .zip is gone from the name. Adding "vgadget" does not work. Can you help!

To view file extensions on Windows 10, launch File Explorer, then click on the "View" tab and check the "File Name Extensions" box.
To show file extensions on Windows 11, open File Explorer, and then click View > Show > File Name Extensions.

Another example mold with spreaders. Since the form is made from several sheets of material the end user may want to add holes to bolt the pieces together. Likewise the end user could add registration lines to ensure the spreaders are aligned correctly to the sides of the form. (Look at the Sharpie lines in the photo.)

Probably depends on the bolts, and a counter sink for the head of the bolt and the washer/nut.

Here is a Teaser Video Showing the New Improved Guitar Body Maker Gadget!

Included in the Gadget is the Mold Layout and Spreader Cauls Layout with Both Having Aligment Line Markings. The Spreader Cauls have an additional Position Marking (L / R). Just a thought that has come to mind --- After the Spreader Cauls are Cut Out you may want to turn them over and Mark them Top Middle Bottom and Guitar Name. I will look into what of these can be added to the Gadget in future Revisions.

I was about to post the gadget but I have found a couple of things that needed to be added to the gadget.

I am adding Identification of all the parts of the Mold and Cauls as to which Mold (Guitar Name) the Caul Blocks belong to and their location (Top Bout(T/B), Waist(W) and Bottom Bout(B/B). This is necessary addition due to so many Caul Blocks available.
