Hey Jim,
I see that there may be another problem with the scribes. No matter what tool I choose for it the program simulates a ball nose cut for the scribe lines.

Please Check and Advise!!!

I think know the issue. Back on Page 3 of this post, you will find where I posted the following.
SDK Note: The SDK "Create Toolpath Function" only supports the Ball Mill, End Mill and V-Bit's as usable profiles. To use other bits (Form Tool, Radiused End Mill, etc...) to create the milling, you will need to change the bit in the Toolpath. I have sent a request to the Dev team to add the other bit profiles to the Create Toolpath Function.
Thanks,
Jim

Yes, but the issue I am seeing is that when I choose a V-Bit 60 Degree the gadget for the Scribe enters a Ball Nose Bit in its place! V-Bits are allowed per the SDK why is the gadget changing my or the users selection???

Yes, I see that per my request/suggestion a box core will not work per the sdk. It is great that you are asking Support to possibly include that type of bit. Thank You! :)

Yeah, just a moment I have to recreate the file because I changed the Toolpath so that it used a V-Bit for the Scribes. It will only take me a few moments to re-create!

Are you saying, You can see other bit styles than the Ball Nose for Fluting toolpath and V-Bits for the Scribe lines? Because the settings that are displayed in the menu should be limiting the bit selection type. On my PC, all I can select are the bit types selected in the menu.

This is perplexing... I will send you a email on this.
Thanks,
Jim

Hello All,

First and foremost, a special thanks to Sharkcutup for his tireless efforts in testing and debugging the Easy suite of gadgets.

What is Fixed:
We have validated the scribe line milling is now milled in the proper direction
Default dialogue size
Tooling "bit" editing issue has also been addressed

Version 11.3

The Easy Install Steps:

1. Download the gadget EasyMDFDoorMaker.zip that is attached to this post.
2. Rename it from EasyMDFDoorMaker.zip to EasyMDFDoorMaker.vgadget
3. In Vectric Pro or Aspire click on Gadgets -> Install Gadget and navigate to where you downloaded the file to, select it and click Ok.

If successful, a pop up saying the gadget was installed and you should see EasyMDFDoorMaker is now in the Gadgets menu.

Please leave me some feedback . I hope you find it useful.

Jim,

All looks good with this gadget so far! Suggestion --- how about a reset to defaults like in EasyCabinet Maker :)

Thank You Jim for the Kind Words! Its is definitely challenging!!!

But you must remember you are the one to be complimented for your tireless efforts in writing all the various codes for all the Easy Suite Gadgets not to mention the User and Help guides you have written for each too!

Forum Members --- As Jim has mentioned "Please leave feedback" for it does help in creating better useful gadgets!!!

Well Sharkcutup,
As my dad said so many times... "Many hands, make heavy work light" and your help is much more than you think. When I write code, I am on a mental path... it is like one step leads to the next an so on. Your testing and input are very valuable because you are not in my mental trench. And you have a fresh look on how is should look or work. So Thank You and keep it up!!!!
JimAndi
Thanks,
Jim

Wow Jim, your work is great.

Haven't been in for a while, but this thing evolved really fast.

@Sharkcutup, i see that in the picture above you have generated a Kitchen Sink Cabinet with the Interior as a Shaker style, where the Inner edge and the Raised Panel edge are sharp corners. How did you do it with the Gadget?

I'm asking because i've made some test and realized, if you want to have it that way, you'll be forced to cut the Inner edge as an Inside cut, Inside the Vector, not on the line.

How did you do it?

Benjamin
