Hello Brandon,

Sorry, I just found your post. Can you help me understand your question/request. What is a "line bore for 32/64/96mm cc line bore for shelves" ?

I think I could bang one out something if you can provide so specs.

I am thinking, is this for holes for shelf pins?
Thanks,
Jim

Hi jim,

yes its for doing shelf pins or Festool MFT tables, handle jig making

Basically the software on my CNC will do it but its clunky takes forever and is not easy to edit.

Also the Array copy tool doesnt work as it works from the space in the middle of the holes where as i need a measurement from the centre to the centre also it to reference an edge or the centre of the board. if you could help this would be great

Thanks

Brandon

Jim,

Yes it is for shelf pins, it is also for hinge mounting plates, drawer runners and construction holes..

Just Google 32mm System, will give you a basic understanding of cabinet construction, if you
have any question just ask away.

I'm not seeing why the Array Copy tool can't be used here. The diameter of the holes is known and the spacing is known.

Draw one 5mm or 8mm circle and then an array copy with columns (for horizontal) or rows (for vertical) with offset of 32mm.

To do the reference group the line of circles of and use the Move command set to absolute and type the edge offset value.

Hi Paul,

I will write you a gadget today. I will post it ASAP.

Hi Paul,
I have been delayed on writing the Gadget. I have started writing the design requirements and I have some questions on how the gadget should work?
1. Do I draw the panel and holes?
2. Do you want Toolpaths?
3. If Toolpaths, will the holes be drilled or pocketed the 5mm pin holes?
4. Do you want the 8mm construction holes?
5. If Toolpaths for construction holes, will the holes be drilled or pocketed?

Please let me know. :)
Thanks,
Jim

Hi All,

I have been busy working on a number of items.

Here is a Ver 1.0 of a 32mm gadget tool thing.

It is not done.... but I would like to know if this is the right direction.

Let me know if I should spend more time on on this or not.

Good Morning!

This seems like a nice tool. It installs fine, but when I go to use it I get the same error message described in the previous post in 10.5 and 11. Any chance of getting this fixed?

Thank you for whatever help you can provide,

Jim

Hi Webb,

What is the error you are getting? Can you post a screen shot of the error?
Thanks,
Jim

Did you try the new version that Jim posted before your reply? That doesn't have the line in it that causes that error unlike the previous one.
