Re: Easy US Flag Maker
Hi Jim and Joe,
I downloaded the gadgets, then unzipped the files.
After that, I started Aspire 10 and opened the Application Data folder via the Aspire File Menu. I navigated to the Gadgets folder and created a new folder I named "Flag Makers". I then opened another Explorer window and navigated to the folder I downloaded and unzipped the gadgets within.
I then simply copied and pasted (via drag-and-drop while holding the Ctrl key) the LUA files of both gadgets to the "Flag Makers" folder I created.

Depending on what software was used to create the zip file you can usually rename it to be a vgadget file and then install by double clicking it or using the Install Gadget menu item in VCarve/Aspire.

Michael, Jim,
Thank you for your prompt feedback. I apologize for the delay in responding to your help, but right after posting my question I went and changed the email address for my userid and was promptly put "offline" until approved by an admin person.
Happily, Im back!
I did get the gadget to work after using Michaels process. I had been trying to find the gadget folders in Windows vs Aspire. Once I opened up the Application Data Folder using Aspire everything fell into place.
Thanks for the help and many thanks for the cool gadget, Jim!
PS...Jim, I tried to respond to your PM message but it said I was not allowed that privilege yet...hopefully one day soon!

Re: Easy US Flag Maker
Just a note for people installing. The "correct" place for 3rd party and optional gadgets is the Vectric Files/Gadgets folder in Public Documents. The Application Data folder is really meant for Vectric gadgets that come with the software and you can lose what you put in there when you uninstall versions etc. As it's a hidden folder many people don't backup it. If you use the Public Documents folder it's easier to backup and there isn't a chance of it being removed when uninstalling etc.
