Thank You for taking your time with this. I will have to figure out what is going on with my computer! I tried to record a little video to show what I see. (well I misunderstood the app, it is actually a series of screen shots).

I also need to find out why the gadgets show up in the gadget menu but not in the data folder, I want to delete them and start clean but I can not locate them.

Again Thank You for your time, I will put this aside for now and try to figure it out later.

You're probably looking in the wrong folder. Vectric gadgets that come with the program are installed in "c:\ProgramData\Vectric\{program}\{version}\Gadgets"

Third party and optional gadgets are installed to "C:\Users\Public\Documents\Vectric Files\Gadgets\{program} {version}"

Hi Scott,

My may want to look in these two locations:
1. C:\ProgramData\Vectric\VCarve Pro\V10.0\Gadgets
2. C:\Users\Public\Documents\Vectric Files\Gadgets\VCarve Pro V10.0

Well my old laptop with windows 7 just does not like the gadget in Aspire or Vcarvepro, I have tried everything I can think of and suggested
( new install of Vcarvepro, delete old flag gadgets, automatic install, manual install) but nothing has worked.
The first pop up window opens up a blank box and when I hit enter it tells me to enter a number.
But window is blank so I can't , I did randomly try entering a number with no luck.
It does work on my Mac running parallels so I do have a work around.

Can you run any other gadgets?

Yes I have tried a couple of the “preloaded” gadgets and they worked, I also use tailmakers puzzle gadget. I do not have any antivirus on this machine, not sure if that would matter.

Hi Scott,
OK... please load and run this test gadget.

1. Download the test Gadget to your "Download Folder" and do not move it.
2. Rename the file to "MyTest.vgadget"
3. Open V-Carve Pro or Aspire and pull down the Gadgets menu.
4. Select "Install New Gadget..."
5. Navigate to your "Download Folder" and select the "MyTest.vgadget" file
6. You should receive confirmation of new gadget added.
7. Pull down the Gadgets menu and you should see "MyTest" available.
8. Run the gadget and tell me what you see

Tried all the gadgets and flag tried your new version 4 and global settings were the 2 that do not work for me on this machine

What are you running as a web browser?
Have you removed IE from your pc?

I will use my Mac to make the file then transfer it over the problem child. If I ever figure anything out I will let you know.
