I can't afford keeping the JimAndI.com web site and had to turn it off.
If you have a backup of the site I could upload it to my site.

Jim,

I have a pkg which allows multiple individual website domains, if you would like I could host your site for free. Joe

Thank you all for the offers...

We contact the web hosting provider. After explain our situation, they have provided web hosting at a very affordable rate. We now have the web site back online and I'm working to build a much more attractive site.

Again, thank you for the offers and support.
Thanks,
Jim

Hello everyone,

Just a heads up.

I've been running regression testing on all my gadgets under Version 11.003 and I have found an issue. I have sent a email to the support team explaining my findings.

Some of my gadgets create New Sheet in the drawing area, which is currently failing under Version 11.003

Looks like the ":AddNewSheet()" call has changed. I have downloaded the SDK from the Vectric web site, but it is the same version as I have loaded on my computer.

I am certain the support team will provide a fix ASAP.
When a fix is provided, I will repost a new version of my gadgets.
Thanks,
Jim

Hello All,

I have patched the gadget to handle the "NewSheet" issue with Version 11.003. Also, added better Help to the tool.

I have downloaded CabinetMaker11-00.zip changed the extension to .vgadget I then opened VCarve Pro version 11.006 and installed this gadget with a successful install closed VCarve then reopened with a new job setup. I then selected the CabinetMaker gadget and got this ----

Probably the debug module line left in. That's what usually causes that error.

Hello everyone,
I hope this message finds you in good cheer. I've been working on the cabinet maker gadget and added quite a few items.
We still don't have the new SDK for Vectric version 11. Therefore, I've added some tools to assist in working with the new sheets.

1. Selection of which parts to be printed on current sheet and create toolpaths on current sheet
2. Remembers your tool selection and recalls them (you don't have to select tools each time) and added a clear button to zero out tool selection
3. Material and finish Association for parts
4. Improved bill of materials ( added current units and better part grouping)
5. Improved potential user input problems (validating that numbers are real numbers, no zero values, and words are not blank, etc...)
6. Improved help, note the cursor change on item labels which will jump to a website to give description of what the item is
7. User can now choose to display the joint details (Dado and Rabbet)
8. Ordered, toolpath creation to move the Profile Toolpaths to the bottom of the ordered list. This will ensure drilling and pocketing will be complete before profile cuts are performed.

As soon as we get the new SDK, I can understand how to manage the sheet creation, naming, etc... I'll incorporate the new functions into all of the Easy Gadgets.

I welcome your feedback and any suggestions.

Hi Sharkcutup,

it is good to hear it is working.

If you would, have a look and review of the help web pages, the menu images, have links, so if you click on label it jump on the page and if you click on a button it will pop-up a new page help. If you click on the main help it will take you one of two places.

1. http://www.jimandi.com/EasyGadgets/Easy ... x.html#Top

2. http://www.jimandi.com/EasyGadgets/Easy ... rHelp.html

Let me know your thoughts.
Thanks,
Jim

Will Do!

Just briefly looked at the help pages, images, labels, etc.... Looks simple enough (user friendly - as they say) of course that is just my opinion. Only time will tell if it user friendly enough for other individuals who use this gadget.

Not sure if you know about this yet or not but when I created the project in the vertical layout of a wall cabinet ---

SidePanelPocket-Wall
TopBottomPocket-Wall

Both the above were deformed (triangulated somewhat) Reference image below

Well isn't that special.
I've never tested in this layout.
I can replicated the problem and will add logic to handle material block orientation.
Thanks for testing this and letting me know.
Thanks,
Jim
