hello shark, i hope i did it right, the file just has a pocket and profile tool loaded (same tool for simplicity's sake), I've tried different tools and gotten the same problem, pockets are incomplete and profiles say they are deep enough but the preview doesn't show them as breaking to the material, if i delete the tool, and reselect it, or change it to a different tool, the problem goes away its a weird bug and i cant figure out what I'm doing wrong, I am working on mm because my controller, richauto b51 only accepts mm, maybe that may be the issue?

Okay Question ---- Are you making a plastic cabinet? Why are you using the same tool for both pocket and profile? Your file that you posted has both Tools as the Same Tool! The same tool is okay now that I have seen that you are NOT putting a Pocket Clearing Bit in.

The Reason the Tool is not cutting the Dado is because the Stepover needs to be adjusted for that tool.
The Reason there is not tool selected is because there is NOT a tool selected for the Pocket Clearing Bit (3rd position).

Metric Side of the Gadget ---

I have researched further into the gadget it is not accepting any Metric Tool for the Profile Bit (1st Position). I have sent an Email to the Author of this Gadget noting this problem issue. Expect to hear something back from him today sometime.

Hello, thanks for the reply, yes the cabinet I'm trying to make is made of PVC board, as it goes under the sink and PVC can get wet without problems, I didn't think that would be a problem

if I delete the tool and re-select the same exact tool the problem goes away, it's just an annoying process

I tried a combination of different tools and they all gave me the same problem, I think the problem is that the gadget really doesn't like metric, I would work on inches but my controller, (richauto b51) only accepts mm

I saw your post and added a half inch end mill as a pocket clearing bit but the problem persisted

Again I just deleted the tool and reselected it and managed to make all my toolpaths, I'll try and cut it this Monday and update

Is there any way to donate money to the tool creator? I'd like to buy him a cup of coffee, the gadget is really well made

No problem Jim, is the fact that it is plastic a problem? The cabinet is for an outdoor kitchen /bbq pit, it's got a roof but no walls so when it rains it may get a little wet, I thought PVC board would be ideal because it can get wet no problem and it's cheap.

Let me know when you fix the metric problem thanks in advance!
