Easy Cabinet Maker

Hello CNC'ers,

I have been working on this Easy Cabinet Maker and I am almost complete and I would like some feedback. This tool will draw the wall or base cabinet or both! It writes a CSV or a Txt Shop Cut list.

Please have a look and let me know if it works or if you have issues.
FYI... I am starting on the help file and should have it soon.

I found some issues.

Fixed:
Dialog Spellings
Dialog size
Wall cabinet hole spacing
Removed unused dialog items
Wall center Part placing
Added hardwood Nosing for shelving to the cut list

Hello All,

I have not seen any feedback on Drawer Maker nor Easy Cabinet Maker gadgets... My friend asked me to add a Euro style cabinet (no face frame, thin cabinet back material and nailer's on the back) and add finger joint to the drawer front and drawer sides.

Anyone interested or needing that style of cabinet and drawer gadgets?

Can I use this with Vcarve Pro 10?

Never mind. I just installed it on 10 and it seems to do what it's supposed to do.

I did have to go into Project Setup tab and change the default Project Path to fit my computer. Otherwise I got error messages.

I'm not a cabinet maker, so how do I determine the pocket depth? Never mind - Milling Defaults. I attached a drawer using the defaults in the gadget. If I get time, I'll run a test this week.

It appears that on a wall cab, that it is putting the back panel over the right side.
Also noticed spelling of "rail" is wrong in description for top.
Haven't played with it much, but it is interesting..

I'm using version 5.2 I don't get a face-frame cut list. But I do get the same overlap as dah79.

If you're spending all of that time making a gadget that will benefit anyone using their cnc to cut cabinet parts, I'm on board for testing.

In fact, I can see using this gadget to draw the parts so that I have a cut list for the table saw. I only have a small cnc so I could only do 1 cabinet part at a time and drawer parts.
I was also thinking that it would be great if the dado and rabbet depths were added as text next to those items. That way I would have a ready reference for cut depth when creating tool paths.
I would like to see a Euro Style option also.

I will add notes to the Dado's and Rabbets ... I am about done with a Easy Dovetail gadget.

I am also drawing up a Euro cabinet... it should not take me too long.

Made some new updates:
Fixed:
Dialog Spellings
Added Easy Dovetail Maker (need to write a help file)
Added finger joining to the Easy Drawer Maker code
Cleanup the code

Next Steps:
Add switch to all the dialog's to turn off & on add New Page (older version do not support New Page) to address parts being drawn on top of other parts.
Add drawing notes on Dado & Rabbits (deep and wide)
Add a Euro style Cabinet
Write a help files for each
Make a Video (on how to use these Easy Tools)
