Re: Easy Cabinet Maker
Jimbo,
I created and cut a 11" wide wall cabinet. Is there a reason that the back is bigger than the cabinet? Can I send you the crv file for you to take a look? The back was 1/2" larger than the cabinet? Neither the top or bottom is cut to allow the back to protrude.
Thanks,
I hope you are doing well,
Willy

Did you want me to send the crv file?
Re: Easy Cabinet Maker
Is there an instructional video or pdf file for this gadget? I would like to start using this to build various cabinets for around the house. Thank You!! Mike

Re: Easy Cabinet Maker
Can you send me a copy of the CRV file and both Bill of Materials (CSV & TXT) files?
Thanks,

Hi Mike,
Have you selected the [ Help ] button on the gadget screens?
Note: the Web Help has drill down help if you select the image buttons.
Thanks,
Jim

Re: Easy Cabinet Maker
Hi Willy,
The Bill of Material file location, files are written to the Project Path. This path is set in the Project menu.
I have looked at the CRV file and it looks correct.
From reviewing the drawing this is what I see.
1. Sides are 1/2" Plywood cut to 11-1/4" Wide X 27" long
2. Top and Bottom are 1/2" Plywood cut to 11-1/4" Wide X 10-1/4" long
If you are building a cabinet that is 12" deep. (11-1/4 wide sides plus a 3/4" thick Face Frame = 12")
In the settings you can adjust or turn on and off features. Have a look at the [ Help ] for each cabinet / shelves / face frame / etc.
Thanks,
Jim

Re: Easy Cabinet Maker
Jimbo,
Thanks, I found the DAT file.
My question was why is the back larger than the cabinet? The back is 27.625" and the side is 27.000" The top and bottom are not cut to allow the back to protrude.

Re: Easy Cabinet Maker
That is a good question.... After looking at the code I need to fix the math for the Wall Cabinet. I will need a day or so.
Did you see any issue with the Base Cabinet?
Thanks,
Jim

Jimbo,
Thanks,
I had no issue's with the base cabinet. I was impressed.
Any thoughts on the wall shelves. The box thing with multiple partitions?
Willy

Re: Easy Cabinet Maker
Hi Willy,
I see a number of issues with the Wall Cabinet math... I need to get me some better drugs.
On the box thing with multiple partitions, I have been looking at that and see one issue. The inter vertical partitions will need to be double sided milling. Are you okay with that?
Thanks,
Jim
