You need to have a job open in V-Carve Pro before you can use the Gadget.

A good Job Size 96.0" Wide by 48.0" Height Material thickness 0.75" and xy datum lower left corner. See Attached image.

Then you can use the gadget.

Jim,

You might run the strict.lua from v11 and v11.5 through a file comparison tool (such as WinDiff in Windows) to see how they differ.

Sounds to me that not all the files associated to the gadget are in the folder for access.

You may want to reinstall gadget so that all files are installed where they need to be.

As you might suspect from a forum named "User Submissions" these sorts of gadgets are only available here and not through official Vectric sites.

You can always find the latest copy by stepping backwards through the posts. The most recent of this gadget is a few pages ago. Here's a direct link.

Will this work on vcarve pro 10.5?

I am not 100% sure. You can try it and if it post an error, I can review the archives for an old version.

Installs and loads fine for me in 10.5.

As I can recollect from all the Beta Testing I have performed ---- 10.0 and 10.514 worked fine then and 11.016 to 11.5 works fine Now.

I cant get past the part where you re name the download. It doesnt show up when i click through the install gadget option.
I've got 11.5 now so i'll see what happens.

Hope your not trying to install into Desktop because Desktop cannot use GADGETS!
