First off Kudos to you! This gadget is great!

I did find a small bug with the face frames though. Not that I am milling face frames but I do like the reference. It draws them at the full height of the cabinet which is fine for the wall cabs but not the base cabinets There is also a typo "Shelf End Clarence"

I was able to fix the cabinet gadget issues with the Wall Cabinet back panel. So here's the new version EasyCabinetMakerVer11.6 gadget with some new features as well.

Errors Fixed:
1. Back panel length calculation
2. Top and bottom rabbit not being drawn and toolpath applied if center panel was not added
3. Spelling errors

New Features:
1. Export all (205+) user settings of current cabinet configuration
2. Import a selected previous export file.

Supports: Vectric Aspire and V Carve Pro versions 10+

Next Steps:
1. Update Help Files
2. Add some more error trapping

I fixed the Easy Cabinet Gadget base face frame issues. So here's the new version EasyCabinetMakerVer11.7 gadget with some new features as well.

Error Fixed:
1. Base Face Frame length calculation

New Features:
1. Error trapping on Import and Exporting files
2. New Sheet selection is disabled for Vectric version 11 and above
3. Updated Help Files on all changes
4. Added folders inside the vgadget load file. This will show up in the Gadget pull down menu.

Supports:
Vectric Aspire and V Carve Pro versions 10+

Next Steps:
1. Add an option to place Drill holes for screws in sides panels for cabinet assembly
2. I may make a video on how to use the gadget? (let me know if you want one)

Great Joy and happiness to you and your families on this Thanksgiving day.

I've been going through the Easy Cabinet Gadget code in great detail. I have a new version of the EasyCabinetMakerVer11.8 gadget with a number of fixes and some new features.

Error Fixed:
1. Base - Toe kick width was incorrect
2. Base - Top stretch width was incorrect
3. Part identification callout and Bill of materials had some parts width and length inverted values (Toe kick, Stretchers and Bottom)

New Features:
1. Added (optional) Assembly Pilot Holes (Base and or Wall cabinets)
2. Modified milling dialogue for options on Assembly pilot holes
3. Updated main dialogue for assembly pilot hole bit selection for the toolpath

Supports:
Vectric Aspire and V Carve Pro versions 10+

Next Steps:
1. Update help files to reflect the new enhancements
2. Make a YouTube video on how to use this gadget

For Windows 10 (and presumably recent previous versions of Windows) you can find them at:

Code: Select all

C:\Users\Public\Documents\Vectric Files\Gadgets

Within that will be your product (Aspire or VCarve) and within that the old versions of Easy Cabinet Maker that you no longer need.

I received a message on my latest update that some of the Assembly Pilot Holes were doubled up (sitting directly on top of each other).
It was a quick fix and wish I had caught it before I posted.
Please find the attached zip file containing EasyCabinetMaker Version 11.9

Do you have spec's on how these boxes are assembled?

• Corner joint type (45, But joint, Dove tail, Box Joint, etc..)

• Back is flush mount or rabbit or dado (reset)

• Face frame, etc
