In my opinion I would have to say create a new Easy/Vanity Maker Gadget as an addendum to the Cabinet Maker Gadget. No need to crowd an already crowded Gadget.

Just my opinion/thoughts!!!

I was so excited when I learned about Easy Cabinet Maker, as it fills my exact need(s)!
However, after downloading version 13.5 (and unzipping... and renaming {.vgadget}) I got the following message, and my heart sunk:

"Failed to Install Gadget"
"Failed to extract the vgadget archive."

I'm currently working with Aspite 11.010

Can anyone provide some guidance?

Sounds like you should leave the ".zip" on there and not change it to ".vgadget" for this file. It seems like it is a real ZIP file that needs a file extracted.

just try changing *.zip to *.vgadget and try to install

(and unzipping... and renaming {.vgadget})

Download the file. Do not unzip. Only rename from xyz.zip to xyz.vgadget

Here i put up a Screenshot. When im Imperial Measuring System it works nice and Gadget is opening, the way it should be.

When in Metric i get this Error Message:

Hello boys and girls,

I have fixed the Metric issue and update the drawer slide pilot hole function to support both Inch and Metric values and updated the user and help PDF guides.

Here is version 13.7 and will only work within version 11+ of the VCarve Pro or Aspire.

Supports:
Version 11+ VCarve Pro or Aspire.

The Easy Install Steps:

1. Download the gadget EasyCabinetMaker.zip that is attached to this post.
2. Rename it from EasyCabinetMaker.zip to EasyCabinetMaker.vagdget
3. In Vectric Pro or Aspire click on Gadgets -> Install Gadget and navigate to where you downloaded the file to, select it and click Ok.

If successful, a pop up saying the gadget was installed and you should see EasyCabinetMaker is now in the Gadgets menu.
