Easy Keyhole Toolpath Maker

Post by jimandi5000 »

Hello All,

Mr. Lewis sent me a request to add some functionality to the Keyhole Toolpath gadget. Version 2.0 now supports milling a keyhole toolpath on an user angle. See the images below.

Supports: Vectric versions 10+

Note: The EasyKeyhole version 2.0 is a modification of the Keyhole_Toolpath (Ver 1.2) gadget that is produced and provided by Vectric Ltd. website. At no point should anyone believe that I (Jimandi) did anything but add functionality to the gadget.

Jim,

One of the functionalities of the keyhole to me is that it should be angled downward so that the fit is snug. Here is a sample of my gcode that I use but would love to see this as an addition to the gadget.

J3,-5.000,0,1

Hello All

As per request, I have added a slope value to the Easy Keyhole gadget. For Version 3.0 we have a angle amount will add wall pressure as the item moves downward so that the item will fit snuggly to the wall. If you do not want this feature, set the value to zero (0.0). Please see the images below.
