Dove Carving for Church Prayer Room

Post by Rcnewcomb »

This carving was done for a church that was building a prayer room. The photo was taken before the lighting was installed that would accent the shadows of the carving:

Hi Randall
I just love the image of that dove. Where did you get it? Would you be willing to share it?
Dan
P.S. I won’t be offended if you say no.

If you have the VectorArt Mega Collection Vol 1 the dove and olive branch is on page 168, image 9.

Dan,

If you don't own the entire collection, you can purchase individual images directly from the VectorArt website for $4.00 each.

You will find the Dove at this link:

Thank you
I found and bought the image of the dove. This was done on my last sample piece of Spectratech Color MDF The veneer I applied was bird’s-eye maple. It still needs a few more coats of lacquer and a matte finish for the final coat.
As for Great Lakes color MDF I emailed them about the problems we are having getting their color MDF If anyone knows of a place in Mi or Wi that carries color MDF would you let me know.If I have to I will have them cut it in half and UPS it.
