Live Edge Cribbage Board

Post by StrataBoy »

Used my CNC to digitize the shape of the walnut. Then imported the values into OnShape to generate a CAD model that has the scoring holes follow the edge profile. Exported the hole pattern as a DXF and imported it into VCarve. What makes it special is that the wood came from a tree on my daughter-in-laws family farm. Gave it back to their family as a keepsake.

I have to agree that that is one beautiful piece of wood. I believe it would have made and awesome guitar body.
