Was the bottom of the bowl lathe turned? The top (and bottom) is beautiful.

@Luvtocarve, yes, the box itself was turned on a wood lathe. Using a 'well established' Cherry cutoff. That's the nice thing about turning, I get to use all those little pieces that were too nice to throw away. It's amazing how much supply of 'finial' material I have laying around
