This one is an Anniversary gift for my wife. Wood is Zebra wood (that I've had in my stash for a number of years).

Lid is corian. I've posted a couple of other turned boxes with carved lids.

I really like this combination. The corian carved lid provides a nice elegance and the turned box provides plenty of variability to make each one interesting.

Really nice job. These kind of projects are one of my favorite things to make and yours is inspirational.
