Incorrect scale factor

Post by alden »

When using VCarvePro the tool machining time is usually estimated to be much longer than the actual run time for my Onefinity Woodworker. Changing the scale factor to one is not enough. I need a negative scale factor to bring it within reason, but the program doesn't accept a negative factor. Why is that ? The only way to get around this is to exaggerate the rapid rate.

Hmmm. That’s confusing...a “negative Scale Factor”?

Must be something else going on. But, maybe you could contact support@vectric.com so they can take a look at your file, Toolpath settings, post processor you are using, etc.

Have you tried a scale factor that is less than 1 ?

To clarify FixitMike's suggestion: use a decimal scaling factor less than one (e.g. 0.65).

Thank you everyone, I did have an incorrect value that I noticed after I posted. I had mm/min instead of mm/sec. This brought me back in range. :D
