AWESOME!!! WOW!

Must have been an awful lot of carving time and cleanup with that project.

Sharkcutup
Sharkcutup,
1.25 hours roughing with a .25" end mill
2.5 hours finishing with a .0625 tapered ball nose 5% step-over
30 seconds for the profile with a .125 end mill

Not much clean up actually. I hit a few spots with a dental pick to clean out a few fuzzies and then hit is with my sanding wheel on a 45 degree drill.

There's something wrong with those dimensions! :D

Also, would really like to see the back side of your good looking project. (I kept wanting to grab it with my mouse and turn it just a leetle bit further around! :D )

It's a single sided carving. Check out the horse's ear from the 'nose' view.
It's deceptively deep looking, isn't it?!

Very nice! How will it be used?

It is a great design with brilliant execution by Grant.

That is what I mean by brilliant execution. It initially looks like a full 3D carving.

Yes, it is a single sided carve. The co-worker that I gave it to has it sitting on her desk at work. She absolutely loved it.
