Thanks for the kind words, Scott and Phil.
The wildfires have definitely not been kind to California. Yesterday in Woodside the smoke and ash darkened our sky and turned it orange...

Same colors in sky as my brother in San Fran sent me:(

BUT,first thing that sprung to mind was a Zank Vinlay of the pic...
in same colored woods next to a pic of the same scene.
Maybe other trees if it happens again.

It would work artistically, Scott, but I'm too close to the real thing--I couldn't bring myself to do it.
